-_-...

sigh.

After taken a couple of fold reference images...
I got out the sketch book to correct lines...
10 minutes in Ms. Gracie plops herself down..
I take her pic and put her on the floor...
right back on the sketch book...
take her down again...
Now that she is annoyed..
she chews on my book bag behind me...
then off to the bathroom to make noises..
so I will get up to see what she is doing...
on and on it goes..

what happens when I work...and web bot oracles

So this is what happens when I sketch....bad cat.

Watched Life After People
on the History channel, it is good.
It kinda proves a theory I have, that civilizations don't take much to be erased. It shows the world after 1000 years, not much left: Mount Rushmore and the Pyramids and that is about it. So it is easy to say that many civilizations could have lived on this planet in the past...some may have even left when the Earth got mean. I am talking all those super continents that existed ..
Gondwana (~600 — ~30 million years ago)
Laurasia (~ 300 — ~60 million years ago)
Pangaea (~300 — ~180 million years ago)
Euramerica (~300 million years ago)
Pannotia (~600 — ~540 million years ago)
Rodinia (~1.1 Ga— ~750 million years ago)
[Ga: gigaannum, is a unit of time equal to 10^9 years,
ie. 4.57 Ga (4.57 billion years)]
Columbia, also called Nuna, (~1.8 — 1.5 Ga ago)
Nena (~1.8 Ga)
Kenorland (~2.7 Ga.)
Ur (~3 Ga ).
Vaalbara (~3.6 Ga)
Yilgarn (4.4-4.3 Ga.)
There is evidence that these continents existed, but it is a crevice here, a rock there. This is hardly the whole continents. And if this current version of humans could so easily be erased after 1000 years, why not others...then again remember not all civilizations would be like us...human intelligence is hardly grand. I was bummed to find out that the TV and Radio signals only go 2 light years out, then fall apart.

decided to set an alarm on my mobil phone for 12 midnight December 21, 2012...the world is suppose to end or something..bah I am not into all that..I want to be around when Andromeda and the Milky Way collide.
XD it will be a star filled sky!

Finished an older piece...

Mu: Matt

the first Death Note fan art that I ever started...
then abandoned because of some bad marker work.
but thought: hell I should finish...
took a colorless blender to "erase" the bad marker and finished..
listening to the Bobby Chiu stuff gave me the drive to do it...

Listening some more...

"...it is better to work a mindless bad job, than a bad art job.."
"...a mindless bad job will get you excited to leave and go home to create..."
"...a bad art job will cause you to be sick of art,
you go home and don't want to do any art.."
so says Bobby Chiu...
I completely agree with this...
for me
it was the 5 years at a digital art school that did it for me...
I really began to hate working with art
barely had time to do the assignments because of the
mindless job I had...hence I never really had time
to work on stuff I wanted or even work with
my assignments how I wanted....
this is where my desire for art really went down hill...
...then the current job is kinda boring...
oh and I was told by the guy in charge
that I should not have gone to school there...
of course they wait until they got my money first...

So I was listening....

to web cast by Bobby Chiu...and sketched this.
I like listening to the guy, he is interesting...
well I wrote down what he said to...in
his latest web cast and took notes..
then started sketching...
and that is where this guy comes from...
sketch originally in the bright green
then added colors for shadowing

...the whole: "I like to sketch in colors.."
thing...yep.
